Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe comes from a multicultural family. Her birthplace was in South London. She is English, and her father was Nigerian. She went to The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. She was a student at an academy called the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London which she graduated with a BA in acting. As a student at the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions, such as the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe got her start in acting through a short film called Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had appearances in guest roles for Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following film, she played Elisha, a BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie for six episodes of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi as the main character on ITV2's show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the 2008 Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. A couple of her credits on stage include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her official US debut on the drama series The Beautiful Life, which only aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was in the episodes of the show's first two seasons as the show's regular. In May of 2013, it was announced that word broke that the actress would leave the show after her appearance as a guest on the premiere episode of its third season. On the show Salem the actress played Tituba in 2014 through the year 2016. In June 2012, she got married to her long-time partner, actor Iddo Goldberg. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also played as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for a Gemini Award, hails from a large Hamilton family. She joined her parents, Roy and Patty and four older brothers, Rob, Brett, and twins Todd and Bram. Ashley's athletic brothers played baseball during summers and hockey in the winter. Ashley was not a walker, but she was a dancer. When she was two and a half, she was introduced to Baby Ballet. Ashley began to be a dancer immediately after that. Ashley was a competitor in ballet, tap and jazz in the high divisions. She was crowned the top soloist at each of the most prestigious dance competitions like, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance among others.
