April Bowlby (born April Bowlby) is an American model, actress and model from the United States. She is also a singer. The actress is famous for her role as Kandi and Stacy Barrett from Drop Dead Diva, and Rita Farr and Titans and Doom Patrol. The career path she chose began when she was modeling, and then she moved into films and television series. She made her first appearance on a small screen, as an extra in the TV series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. This then led to appearances of individual episodes of other series. Then, she was offered the part as Kandi in the TV show Two and a Half Men. Bowlby's role as Stacy Barrett on the series Drop Dead Diva earned her international recognition. Bowlby played Rita Farr/Elastigirl from The American web-series Titans. Her character will appear in the upcoming spinoff Doom Patrol. Bowlby was in TV movies like Sands of Oblivion or The Wrong Daughter. She made her big-screen debut in the feature movie All Roads Lead Home and afterwards appeared in several other films like The Slammin Salmon and From Prada to Nada. She began her studies in French and Ballet at Moorpark College. Then she decided to pursue acting. Following her studies in drama under Ivana Chubb, she got an important role (Kandi in Two and a Half Men), within months of making her Hollywood debut. Bowlby's TV work includes CSI in which she played Kaitlin rackish in 2004, CSI: NY and CSI: NY, in which she as Jenny Lee in 5, Freddie: Sydney as Sydney in 5 as well as How I Met Your Mother: Meg. More recently Bowlby was cast in the role as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home a 2007 film about a 12-year-old year old girl who lost her mother in a car collision. Bowlby will be starring as Mia, as well in The Slammin Salmon (2008). Los Angeles is her home. Her hair is naturally red and blue eyes. She was never married, and has no children.
