The family was raised in Rochester, New York, Sharp was immersed in music and studied clarinet, piano, and cello at the highly regarded Hochstein School of Music. Following a successful application to The Boston Conservatory because of her passion for school theater Sharp applied for The Boston Conservatory. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp turned her attention to the stage. Sharp was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp made her debut Off Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. Sharp also played 8 roles in the comedy interactive Eat the Runt. Other stage shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside writer August Wilson himself. Alongside her performances in stage and screen, Sharp has several other creative projects that she's written or co-written. She sings as often as she can, and has a full-length album that is in development. Sharp enjoys staying fit and is always in good condition by pursuing Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp lives with her family, including her husband living in Los Angeles.
