Ruth Wilson
Ruth Wilson is a two-time Olivier Award winner and Golden Globe Award winner. She also was the first to make her Broadway debut in Nick Payne's Constellations alongside Jake Gyllenhaal. She is best known for her role as Alison Lockhart on the Showtime drama "The Affair" in which she was awarded the Golden Globe Award. The Little Stranger and Dark River are among her credits on film. In the film Hedda gabler She was also nominated for an Best Actress Olivier Award nominee. Wilson made an appearance in BBC's "Luther," nominated for eight Emmy Awards. The BBC mini-series "Jane Eyre," she won nominations from both the Golden Globes and BAFTAs for the Best Lead actor. In 2007 she had her London debut in Maxim's Philistines in The National Theatre. She also played in Ingmar Bergman's Through a Glass Darkly, which was adapted for the Almeida Theatre.
